My research focusses on environmental ethics, governance and diverse connections with nature, taking a grounded, relational approach. I am interested in our conceptions of nature, and how they influence action, and have effects. We have incredible potential to think, feel and act differently - and restructure our worlds.
I have worked as an environmental consultant since 2008, and established Open Space Consulting in 2012. My purpose is to support organisations in their efforts to embed sustainability into their operations. I am hired for my skills in strategic thinking, researching, interviewing, community engagement, policy analysis, report writing and project management.
Brunswick Communities for Nature (BCfN) is a local community group, with a goal to get more native plants into the ground. I have co-convened BCfN since 2014, organising community events, propagating plants, and providing advice. Our aim is simple, and we do a lot.
I am guided by respect for people, organisations and the environment and work to achieve the best outcomes for all.
